For the longest time, I was inspired by an old phrase, “If you build it, they will come.” I firmly believed that if you have a business idea or dream and put in the effort to achieve it, you can turn that dream into a reality, and people will show up to use your product or services.
With that phrase in mind, I recently started a healthy Lebanese, Mediterranean restaurant in Orlando, FL. And right enough, people did turn up to try our shawarmas, falafel, tabbouleh, and other offerings. While this restaurant is my latest creation, I’ve been in this line of business for over twenty-five years.
I’ve noticed a few significant changes over the years; one is the evolution of chickpeas. Today, there are more varieties of chickpeas and a plethora of ways to incorporate them into your diet. They are delicious and packed with nutrition. That’s why we use chickpeas in many of our recipes – including our renowned falafel and hummus!
As for our business, we now regularly use social media to promote our business. We have also learned how to offer better products to our customers.
Delivering quality products at an affordable rate is what sets us apart from other restaurants. As a business, we strive to offer unmatched customer service and stay true to our beliefs by maintaining integrity with our customers.
I am fortunate to be surrounded by a team that puts in the effort to ensure customers are satisfied with our food. I owe my success to my hardworking team, my hands-on approach, and my loving family who’ve supported me throughout my business journey.
The most enjoyable part of my job has been providing customers with healthy and fresh quality products. Also, educating people about the need to eat healthily.
I would also like to advise others to be good standing members of the community they work and live in and always try to give back at every opportunity that they get.
